Fiddler’s ReStrung are a brilliant example of what young adults can and will achieve if given a direction and the opportunity to explore, develop and pursue their own interests. The members continue to polish existing skills and learn new material presenting a full stage show of incomparable quality. While primarily an instrumental ensemble, the group takes pride in several fine singing voices, as well as some amazingly talented cloggers! The expectations are for high musical skill, character, commitment and desire for excellence in each student. These students balance academics, sports, school organizations, church activities, jobs, and social lives along with their demanding commitment to music year round. They do all of this while maintaining an average grade point of 3.75.

These students are all former members of a nationally known group who have performed at venues such as the White House, and the Kennedy Center. They have worked with many Internationally known musicians, such as Mark O’Connor, Byron Berline, Bonnie Rideout, Jay Unger and Molly Mason, Peter Ostroushko, Natalie McMaster, Barrage, Pulse and many more! Fiddler’s ReStrung is organized through the Saline Area Schools Community Education Department and is supported by many volunteers, donations from sponsors, sales of recordings and contributions for performing.

More than flying bits of food (which you won't see at The Opera House), Gallagher's show incorporates intelligent social and political commentary as only he can deliver. Add to this a plethora of oddball props and you have the ingredients of one of the most calculating performers in the entertainment world. More than any other comic, Gallagher is best known for his 16 audacious cable specials with titles like "Uncensored Evening," "Too Real," "Mad As Hell," "Totally New," "Stuck in the 60's," "We Need A Hero," etc. Fans always get more than their money's worth. Gallagher gives 110% before and during every show, posing for pictures and signing autographs. Flash photography is allowed and encouraged! Don't miss out on the fun as Gallagher Looks for Intelligent Life in Cheboygan, MI.
